You have a few names in Sardis who have not defiled their garments. They will walk with Me in white for they are worthy
(Revelation 3:4).

He who overcomes (the Overcomer) will be dressed in white garments, and I will in no way blot his name out of the scroll (book) of life, and I will confess his name before My Father, and before His angels
(Revelation 3:5).

He who has a (spiritual) ear, let him hear what the (Holy) Spirit says to the churches
(Revelation 3:6).

Are there any Bible scriptures that might help us understand these verses here in Revelation? In my opinion I think so-

Revelation 3:4
You have a few names in Sardis who have not defiled their garments. They will walk with Me in white (garments) for they are worthy.

Names (referring to Christ's Overcomers)

The revelation of an Overcomer's name is revealed in several scrolls of Revelation:

It is revealed in Revelation Scroll Number Four-
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written that no one knows except him who receives it
(Revelation 2:17).

It is also revealed in Revelation Scroll Number Six-
You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels
(Revelation 3:4-5).

It is also revealed in Revelation Scroll Number Seven-
He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. And I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, that comes down out of Heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name
(Revelation 3:12).

It is also revealed in Revelation Scroll Number Nine-
Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father's name written on their foreheads
(Revelation 14:1).

It is also revealed in Revelation Scroll Number Twelve-
Now the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb
(Revelation 21:14).

They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads
(Revelation 22:4).

Are there other scrolls in the bible that appear to reveal this? Yes:

And the Angel of the Lord said to her- behold, you are with child, and you shall bear a son. You shall call his name Ishmael because the Lord has heard your affliction
(Genesis 16:11).

No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham- for I have made you a father of many nations
(Genesis 17:5).

Then God said to Abraham- as for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall be her name
(Genesis 17:15).

Then God said- no, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac- I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his descendants after him
(Genesis 17:19).

And God said to him- your name is Jacob- your name shall not be called Jacob anymore, but Israel shall be your name. So He called his name Israel
(Genesis 35:10).

But the angel said to him- do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard- and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John
(Luke 1:13).

God knows their names:
Yet I have reserved seven thousand in Israel, all whose knees have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him
(1 Kings 19:18).

Who Have Not Defiled Their Garments

God appears to reveal spiritual garments in several scrolls of Revelation:

It is revealed in Revelation Scroll Number One-
Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw...One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet
(Revelation 1:12-13).

It is revealed in Revelation Scroll Number Six-
He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels
(Revelation 3:5).

It is revealed in Revelation Scroll Number Eight-
I counsel you to buy from Me...white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your (spiritual) nakedness may not be revealed
(Revelation 3:18).

It is revealed in Revelation Scroll Number Nine-
...surrounding the throne there were also twenty-four other thrones, on which sat twenty-four Elders wearing white clothes and (Overcomer's) crowns of gold on their heads
(Revelation 4:4).

...then (in Heaven) a white robe was given to each of them (Overcomer martyrs)...
(Revelation 6:11).

...and I said to him- sir, you know. So he said to me- these are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb
(Revelation 7:14).

It is revealed in Revelation Scroll Number Ten-
Behold, I AM coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk (spiritually) naked and they see his shame
(Revelation 16:15).

And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints
(Revelation 19:8).

And the armies in Heaven, clothed in (uniforms) of fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses
(Revelation 19:14).

Garments are mentioned in the Old Testament. Here are only a few examples-

And Jacob said to his household and to all who were with him- put away the foreign gods that are among you, purify yourselves, and change your garments
(Genesis 35:2).

And these are the garments that they shall make: a breastplate, an ephod, a robe, a skillfully woven tunic, a turban, and a sash. So they shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother and his sons, that he may minister to Me as priest
(Exodus 28:4).

I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God- for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness...
(Isaiah 61:10).

Let your garments always be white...
(Ecclesiastes 9:8).

Garments are mentioned in the New Testament. Here are only a few examples-

But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment. So he said to him- friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then the king said to the servants- bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness- there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few are chosen
(Matthew 22:11-14).

But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments. Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them- Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying- The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. And they remembered His words
(Luke 24:2-8).

...that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish
(Ephesians 5:27).

Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand
(Ephesians 6:13).

And on some have compassion, making a distinction- but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh
(Jude 1:22-23).

John Gill in his Exposition of the Entire Bible 1887 had this to say-
"They were not guilty either of corporeal or spiritual fornication, that is idolatry; they kept their outward (spiritual) conversation garments pure, and maintained a profession of Christ and his truths incorrupt; they did not defile it by an unbecoming walk, or by a denial of Christ and a departure from Him, and by embracing false doctrines; they were neither erroneous in their principles, nor immoral in their practices; few there, are indeed of this sort."

They Will Walk With Me

God walking with His Overcomers is revealed in several scrolls of Revelation:

It is revealed in Revelation Scroll Number Two-
To the angel of the church of Ephesus write- these things says He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the middle of the seven golden lampstands...
(Revelation 2:1).

It is revealed in Revelation Scroll Number Six-
You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments- and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy
(Revelation 3:4).

It is revealed in Revelation Scroll Number Ten-
Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame
(Revelation 16:15).

and it is revealed in Revelation Scroll Number Twelve-
And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it
(Revelation 21:24).

Are there other scrolls in the bible that appear to reveal this? Yes-

And they (Adam and Eve) heard the voice of the Lord God walking- in the garden in the cool of the day...and the Lord God called to Adam and said to him- where are you?
(Genesis 3:8-9).

I will walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people
(Leviticus 26:12).

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil- for You are with me- Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me
(Psalm 23:4).

Look- he answered- I see four men loose, walking in the middle of the fire- and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God
(Daniel 3:25).

Now behold, two of them were traveling that same day to a village called Emmaus, that was seven miles from Jerusalem. And they talked together of all these things that had happened. So it was, while they conversed and reasoned, that Jesus Himself drew near and went with them
(Luke 24:13-15).

Every Overcomer's Apparel Will Be the Color White

This truth is revealed in several scrolls of Revelation:

It is revealed in Revelation Scroll Number Six-
You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments- and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Scroll of Life- but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels
(Revelation 3:4-5).

It is revealed in Revelation Scroll Number Eight-
I counsel you to buy from Me...white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your (spiritual) nakedness may not be revealed
(Revelation 3:18).

It is revealed in Revelation Scroll Number Nine-
Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes
(Revelation 4:4).

Then a white robe was given to each of them
(Revelation 6:11).

After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes
(Revelation 7:9).

Then one of the elders answered, saying to me- who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from? And I said to him- sir, you know. So he said to me- these are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb
(Revelation 7:13-14).

and it is revealed in Revelation Scroll Number Eleven-
...and the armies in Heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean...
(Revelation 19:14).

There other scrolls in the bible that appear to reveal this. Here are a few quotes-

We will clothe the priests in white, the symbol of all purity. May our nation shout for joy
(Psalm 132:9 Living Bible paraphrased).

I watched till thrones were put in place, and the Ancient of Days was seated- His garment was white as snow...
(Daniel 7:9).

...and the Levites who were the singers...stood at the east end of the altar, clothed in white linen
(2 Chronicles 5:12).

...and He (Jesus) was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light
(Matthew 17:2).

His (Jesus) clothes became shining, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them
(Mark 9:3).

As He (Jesus) prayed, the appearance of His face was altered, and His robe became white and glistening
(Luke 9:29).

Every Overcomer is Worthy

Every Overcomer has high value to God and is worthy to receive what God determines. What makes an Overcomer worthy? Is it his or her good looks, popular personality, large amount of money they possesses, or something else? No. What makes an Overcomer worthy is the fact that he or she is washed in the blood of the Lamb. His or her sins are forgiven.

It appears this scripture concerning an Overcomer's worthiness in Christ stands alone in Revelation and is not repeated in multiple scrolls. As such, it is revealed here in Revelation Scroll Number Six-
...you have a few names in Sardis who have not defiled their garments. They will walk with Me in white, for they are worthy
(Revelation 3:4).

Are there other scrolls in the bible that appear to reveal this? Yes-

So he answered and said- you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind- and your neighbor as yourself
(Luke 10:27).

He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him
(John 14:21).

Jesus answered and said to him- if anyone loves Me, he will keep My word- and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him
(John 14:23).

Then the King will say to those on His right hand- come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world
(Matthew 25:34).

But you are those who have continued with Me in My trials. And I bestow upon you a kingdom, just as My Father bestowed one upon Me, that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel
(Luke 22:28-30).

Do not labor for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to everlasting life, that the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him
(John 6:27).

If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me- and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor
(John 12:26).

Revelation 3:5
He who overcomes (the Overcomer) will be dressed in white garments, and I will in no way blot his name out of the scroll (book) of life, and I will confess his name before My Father, and before His angels.

The Lamb's Scroll of Life

The Lamb's Scroll of Life is revealed in several scrolls of Revelation:

It is revealed here in Revelation Scroll Number Six-
He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Scroll of Life- but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels
(Revelation 3:5).

It is revealed in Revelation Scroll Number Nine-
All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Scroll of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world
(Revelation 13:8).

It is revealed in Revelation Scroll Number Ten-
The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition. And those who dwell on the earth will marvel, whose names are not written in the Scroll of Life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet is
(Revelation 17:8).

It is revealed in Revelation Scroll Number Eleven-
And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and scrolls were opened. And another scroll was opened, that is the Scroll of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things that were written in the scrolls
(Revelation 20:12)...and anyone not found written in the Scroll of Life was cast into the lake of fire
(Revelation 20:15).

and it is revealed in Revelation Scroll Number Twelve-
But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's Scroll of Life
(Revelation 21:27).

Are there other scrolls in the bible that appear to reveal this? Yes.

Yet now, if You will forgive their sin- but if not, I pray, blot me out of Your scroll that You have written
(Exodus 32:32).

Let them be blotted out of the scroll of the living, and not be written with the righteous
(Psalms 69:28).

At that time Michael shall stand up, the great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people- and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation, even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, every one who is found written in the scroll
(Daniel 12:1).

I Will Confess his Name Before My Father and Before His Angels

To confess (profess) to God in this context means to acknowledge openly and joyfully. Each Overcomer has favor with God. This favor with God is revealed in several scrolls of Revelation:

It is revealed in Revelation Scroll Number One-
...and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever
(Revelation 1:6).

It is revealed in Revelation Scroll Number Six-
He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life- but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels
(Revelation 3:5).

It is revealed in Revelation Scroll Number Eight-
To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne
(Revelation 3:21).

and it is revealed in Revelation Scroll Number Nine-
Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father's name written on their foreheads
(Revelation 14:1).

Are there other scrolls in the bible that reveal the favor of God? Yes. Here are a few:

Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in Heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in Heaven
(Matthew 10:32-33).

Also I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man also will confess before the angels of God
(Luke 12:8).

So the Lord said to Moses- I will also do this thing that you have spoken- for you have found grace in My sight, and I know you by name. And he said- please, show me Your glory. Then He said- I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. But He said- you cannot see My face- for no man shall see Me and live. And the Lord said- here is a place by Me, and you shall stand on the rock. So it shall be, while My glory passes by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by. Then I will take away My hand, and you shall see My back- but My face shall not be seen
(Exodus 33:17-23).

I speak with him face to face, Even plainly, and not in dark sayings- and he sees the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid to speak against My servant Moses?
(Numbers 12:8).

Revelation 3:6
He who has a (spiritual) ear, let him hear what the (Holy) Spirit says to the churches.
