To the angel of the Church in Ephesus write as follows- this is what He who holds the seven
stars in the grasp of His right hand- He who walks in the middle of the seven lampstands of gold- says these things...
(Revelation 2:1).
I know your works, your labor, your patience- and that you cannot bear
those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have
found them liars
(Revelation 2:2).

The greatest message ever heard came from an empty tomb
And God has commanded others to write on scrolls the Word of God-
To the angel of the church of Ephesus write- these things says He who holds the
seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the middle of the seven golden
lampstands.
The Angel of the Church of Ephesus
The angel of Ephesus is revealed to be one of seven such angels in symbolism. It appears this
revelation was previously revealed in Revelation Scroll Number One
(Revelation 1:20). Please journey there for Gods's message or
Christ commanded the Apostle John to write His letter and then send it Ephesus.
This letter was the Word of God and it was important to send it out. Our commission
today is also to share the Word of God with others (Mark 16:15). Then he was to send
other letters into the harvest field beyond Ephesus. Where were they sent? This is revealed
in several scrolls of Revelation:
(Revelation 1:11).
Write... (Revelation 1:19).
(to) the church of Ephesus write (Revelation 2:1).
to...the church in Smyrna write (Revelation 2:8).
to the...the church in Pergamos write (Revelation 2:12).
to the...church in Thyatira write (Revelation 2:18).
to the...church in Sardis write (Revelation 3:1).
to the...church in Philadelphia write (Revelation 3:7).
to the...church of the Laodiceans write (Revelation 3:14).
I heard a voice from Heaven saying to me- write (Revelation 14:13).
...then he said to me- write (Revelation 19:9).
Then He who sat on the throne said...to me- write (Revelation 21:5).
Yahweh said to Moses- write you these words- for in accordance with these words I have made a
covenant with you and with Israel
(Exodus 34:27).
Now go, write it before them on a tablet, and inscribe it in a scroll, that it may
be for the time to come- forever and ever
(Isaiah 30:8).
The word that came to Jeremiah from Yahweh, saying, thus speaks Yahweh, the God of Israel,
saying- write all the words that I have spoken to you in a scroll
(Jeremiah 30:1-2)...in the latter days you shall understand it
(Jeremiah 30:24).
If they be ashamed of all that they have done...write it in their sight...
(Ezekiel 43:11).
Yahweh answered me- write the vision, and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who
reads it- for the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and
will not prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it- because it will surely come. It
will not delay
(Habakkuk 2:2-3).
(Nehemiah 9:38).
...it seemed good to me also, having traced the course of all things accurately from the first,
to write to you in order, most excellent Theophilus that you might know the certainty
concerning the things in which you were instructed
(Luke 1:3-4).
...therefore my judgment is that we do not trouble those from among the Gentiles who turn to
God, but that we write to them that they abstain from the pollution of idols, from sexual
immorality, from what is strangled, and from blood. For Moses from generations of old has in
every city those who preach him, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath...
(Acts 15:19-21).
If any man thinks himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him recognize the things that
I write to you, that they are the commandment of the Lord
(1 Corinthians 14:37).

Revelation 2:2
In each Overcomer there should be fruit that is produced by God the Holy Spirit. To God be
the glory.

I know your works, your labor, your patience- and that you cannot tolerate those
who are evil, but have put to the test those who say that they themselves are Apostles but are
not, and you have found them to be (lifestyle) liars.

The Greek word, labor, in this verse can refer to trouble unto weariness. How does Jesus know
these things? Jesus Christ is God the Son and He is omniscient- meaning that He knows everything.
God mentions works and labor in several scrolls of Revelation:
This is revealed here in Revelation Scroll Number Two-
I know your works and your labor...(Revelation 2:2).
I know your works and your love and your service and your faith and your patient endurance and
that your current works are better than your first ones (Revelation 2:19)...all the churches
shall know that I AM He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you
according to your works
(Revelation 2:23)...and he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give
power over the nations
(Revelation 2:26).
This is revealed in Revelation Scroll Number Seven-
I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut
it- for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name
(Revelation 3:8).
Then I heard a voice from Heaven saying to me- write- blessed are the dead who die in the Lord
from now on. Yes, says the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors, and their works
follow them
(Revelation 14:13).
Then I heard a voice from Heaven saying to me- write, blessed are the dead who die
in the Lord from now on. Yes, says the Spirit- that they may rest from their labors,
and their works follow them (Revelation 14:13)...they sing the song of Moses, the servant of
God, and the song of the Lamb, saying- great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty!
Just and true are Your ways, O King of the Saints
(Revelation 15:3).
..and I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and scroll books were opened.
And another scroll book was opened- that is the Scroll Book of Life. And the dead were judged
according to their works, by the things that were written in the scroll books
(Revelation 20:12).
And behold, I AM coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one
according to his work
(Revelation 22:12).
1) Their good works towards God (their worship) (Mark 12:30),
2) Their love towards God and others (1 Corinthians 13:4),
3) Their help (service) (Matthew 25:40),
4) Their faith in God (Hebrews 11:6),
5) Their spiritual strength in trouble (patience and endurance) (2 Corinthians 12:9),
6) Their good works to others on His behalf (James 2:14-26),
7) Their final works were greater than their first works (Acts 1:8).
So, what are some possible select biblical scriptures for this verse above in Revelation?
What are the works of God?
And when John (the Baptist) had heard in prison about the works of Christ, he sent two
of his disciples and said to Him- are You the Coming One, or do we look for another? Jesus answered
and said to them- go and tell John the things
that you hear and see- the blind see and the lame walk- the lepers are cleansed and the deaf
hear- the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he
who is not offended because of Me
(Matthew 11:2).
For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will
reward each according to his works
(Matthew 16:27).
But I have a greater witness than John's- for the works that the Father has given Me to
finish- the very works that I do- bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me
(John 5:36).
Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also- and
greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father
(John 14:12).
(Acts 26:19-20).
The works of His hands are truth and justice. All his precepts are sure
(Psalm 111:7).
Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful
works to the children of men!
(Psalm 107:21).
