Write the things you have seen, and the things that are, and the things that are about to take place after these-
(Revelation 1:19)

the mystery of the seven stars that you have seen in My right hand, and of the seven lampstands of gold. The seven stars are the angels of the seven Churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven Churches
(Revelation 1:20).

Are there any Bible scriptures that might help us understand these verses here in Revelation? In my opinion I think so-

Revelation 1:19
Write the things you have seen, and the things that are, and the things that are about to take place after these.

The Things You Have Seen

The things you have seen are things revealed by God to John in Revelation Scroll Number One. This appears to be confirmed by Christ-
...saying- what you see, write in a scroll and send it to the seven churches
(Revelation 1:11).

What kind of spiritual things did the Apostle John see as revealed in his vision? These things are revealed in Revelation Scrolls One through Eight.

The Things That Are

The things that are- These things appear to be things revealed by God to John in regards to the churches. These are revealed in Revelation Scrolls Two through Eight (Revelation chapters two and three).

See if you can find out what God's messages are to the church today via the seven churches of Revelation...

The things that will take place after this

What kinds of spiritual things did the Apostle John see in his vision? Many things are symbolic, concerning the future, and revealed in Revelation Scrolls Nine through Twelve (chapters four through twenty-two). I have not written on any of this yet in this book.

Revelation 1:20
...the mystery of the seven stars that you have seen in My right hand, and of the seven lampstands of gold. The seven stars are the angels of the seven Churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven Churches.

The Angels of the Seven Churches

The word, angel, in Hebrew and Greek can also be translated to mean "messenger" or "one who is sent" in reference to a human pastor, minister, priest, or spiritual leader of a particular church. In other words it appears that angels in Revelation Scrolls One through Eight, in symbolism, appear to be people- ministers or leaders of the church. Each church had one. Are there any other scrolls of the bible with scriptures that appear to prove this? I think so-

Then Haggai, the Lord's angel, spoke the Lord's message to the people...(Hagai 1:13).

For the lips of a priest should keep knowledge, and people should seek the law from his mouth- for he is the angel of the Lord of Armies
(Malachi 2:7).

{A Psalm of David} Ascribe unto Jehovah, you mighty angels, ascribe unto Jehovah glory and strength
(Psalm 29:1).

Behold, I send My angel- and he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, Whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple- even the angel of the covenant- in whom you delight. Behold, He is coming- says the Lord of Armies
(Malachi 3:1).
