A simple calculator to determine the area of a square, triangle, rectangle, circle or sphere. Choose in the drop down box: square, triangle, rectangle, circle, or sphere. Then a small box will appear in the upper left hand corner of your screen. Put in whole numbers only. Do not put in ' or " or feet or inches. It is ok to use a decimal point.

A browser adjustment may be needed for you to use (java)script.
If you are using a Netscape or Firebox browser and this script does not work then go to the top tool bar and click on the tools link. Then click on the options link. Place a check mark in each of the two slots. One is labeled "enable Java" and the other one is labeled "enable Javascript". Then click on the ok button at the bottom. This should fix the problem so that you can use this script.

If you are using an Internet Explorer browser then go to the top tool bar and click on the tools link. Then click on Internet Options. Click on the advanced tab. Place a check mark in front of the sentence that reads: "Allow active content to run in files on my computer." Then click on ok and you should now be ready to use this script:)
